Master Builder
The "Master Builder" designation is a unique recognition of professionalism conveyed only upon selected builders by the Professional Home Builders Institute of Alberta.
To achieve this status, a builder must spend close to 400 hours in the classroom and successfully complete at least 14 training courses with content specific to the residential construction industry. In addition, they must comply with a written Code of Ethics that enhances the dignity and status of their profession and commit to ongoing training to keep their knowledge up to date. Master Builders all belong to the Alberta New Home Warranty Program and all have had at least five years experience at a senior management level. Cobblestone Master Builder Inc. achieved its "Master Builder" designation in 2004 when its Vice President, Steve Boyle, successfully completed the requirements of the program.
